PASTOR TERENCE STOVELL

 

 Terence Stovell is the founding pastor of the Better Covenant Christian Fellowship.  He is a native of Bermuda and received his early education at home with godly parents who trained him in the way he should go. His education continued at the Purvis Primary School and then at the Whitney Institute.  He went on to receive a diploma in Pastoral Studies from the World Harvest Bible College, in Columbus, Ohio.  

 

Better Covenant Christian Fellowship held its first service on July 7, 1996 under the leadership of Pastor Stovell.  He is also the Overseer of the Better Covenant Life Christian Fellowship located in the Philippines.  He sits on the Apostolic Council of ERCM, in Pickerington, OH and serves in various other capacities within his local community.

 

He had the privilege of being the first Bermudian keynote speaker at the annual Parliamentary Prayer Breakfast held in December 2004.  He has also had speaking engagements throughout the United States, Bahamas, Africa and the Philippines.  

 

One of Pastor Stovell favorite quotes which sums up his approach to life is, “Life is ten percent of what happens to you, ninety percent is how you respond.” His goal is to encourage people to be delivered from perspectives and paradigms that paralyze them from real progress and growth; to develop in their thinking process because “As a man thinks in his heart so he is”; and then to be deployed to take their place in the world and be an asset wherever life may take them - using their God given abilities to help better the life of others.

 

Pastor Stovell married his high school sweetheart, Jeanann, and they are blessed with three children; two daughters, Ashley and Alexis and one son, Jayden.

 

 

          PASTOR JEANANN STOVELL

 

Prior to full time ministry, Jeanann worked in the Insurance Industry for more than twenty years.  She believes that God has called her to minister to those who are bruised, hurt, down-trodden and lost.  With this assignment, she presents the Word of God with practicality and simplicity, believing that the Word of God ought to be “PREACHED TO REACH” and in reaching, lives will be changed.

 

She has ministered locally and internationally, including Columbus, Ohio and most recently Kiambu, Kenya.  She believes that we ought to take the knowledge of God’s love to the Nations.

 

Jeanann’s favorite scripture verse is found in Psalm 91:1 “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the almighty.”
