International Ministries
BCLCF
Better Covenant Life Christian Fellowship is our first international ministry, established in Pampanga, Philipeans, under the watch of Pastors Toni and Lillian Harjasuwito. The church was established after Paster Tony, then a chef in Bermuda, received the gift of salvation and felt the call of God to return home and take the Good News of the Gospel to the Philipeans. The church began in the home of the Harjasueto’s with a few relatives, but has grown to include many from the community. Pastor Tony is very involved within the Ministerial Fellowship in that area and is making an impact for the glory of God. There is a purpose built church edifice which was completed and dedicated to God in early 2006.
Missions
Missionaries, Minister Colin Lee and Pastor Hedwig Lee, left Bermuda with a desire to establish a facility of Hope to the people of Ethiopia, Africa. It was their intent to train people who had been exposed to war and strife, with life skills like carpentry, masonry and building. Through this facility they would also administer healing, deliverance, forgiveness and hope to all who were oppressed. Their vision for the people in that region was total restoration of life, hope and healing.
They are a part of a great network of missionaries who are placed within the Coast of Africa. Unfortunately, in November 2005, while traveling to a missions point, Colin was gunned down and killed by rebel soldiers in Southern Sudan. This was a most tragic event which was felt throughout the entire network of missionaries and in his home land of Bermuda. However, we believe that his death is a seed that will bring forth much fruit in the land of Africa, for the glory of God and that the work will continue until every ear has heard and every eye has seen the healing power of Jesus Christ.
Pray continually for the Lee family as they continue to do the will of God and continue to travel to the regions of Africa.
