Ministers Colin and Hedwig Lee
This page is dedicated to the memory of Minister Colin Lee who gave his life as an offering for the people of Africa. Minister Lee believed it was his life's destiny to be in Africa ministering healing and forgiveness to the people of Sudan, Samalia, Ethiopia, and Northern Uganda. Minister Colin spent one year on the mission field serveying the land and building relationships, as he beileved it was the will of God for him to reach out to the common man.

He and his wife Missionary-Minister Hedwig Lee, who had been on the mission field for eleven years prior, believed it was the will of God for them to settle in the region of Ethiopia to establish a healing facility. The aim of the facility was to help bring emotional healing of those who have been scared by the years of war and unrest. It would also provide skills and training to all who were willing to learn.
Minister Colin was a skilled carpenter. It was his desire to teach men, women, boys and girls his beloved craft, enabling them to work and become self sufficient.
However, on Saturday, November 5th, 2005, as Colin, Hedwig and their driver - another IAS (international Aid Services) worker were making their way from Kaya to Yei in Southern Sudan, their vehicle was ambushed by a group of armed men, close to the town of Morobo. Colin was shot in the chest and throat, the driver was shot in the arm and Hedwig escpaped unharmed. Colin was taken to Yei hospital for treatment, but due to severe wounds he passed away from his injuries.
We believe the His blood is a sacrifice and an offering unto God in Northern Sudan. Our prayer is that God will raise up workers and missionaries who will continue to go into the land ministering healing to the hearts of the people.
